Whenever my mother drafts me to help with work, she’ll convieniently forget to mention when her friend — let’s call her “E” — is the one driving. That’s because E never looks where she’s going and is always doing something else when she’s driving. When we went out this 4th of July, she almost backed over some people in a parkinglot, and last December, she was driving in front of my friend’s car — the one I was riding in — and slammed on the breaks, causing both cars to get smashed up. I don’t know if they’ve even gotten fixed yet.
There’s now an online autobody repair shop and paint providers network, called Collision Repair Experts, that holds the shops on their site to high standards of quality and accountable, which is important, considering how easy it is now to get your business listed online. Too bad they don’t have any shops even close to my home town. But then, we don’t even have a hamburger joint, so it’s no surprise.
